About LegiProp
Built by people who've sold plots on WhatsApp, not just studied the market from outside it
"Legi" reads as "legit" — genuine, authentic. "Prop" is properties. LegiProp exists to become the operating layer underneath Pakistan's real estate dealer trade: the part that currently runs on group chats, screenshots, and trust that has no record behind it.
The problem, plainly
Real estate dealing in Pakistan runs through informal networks — WhatsApp and Facebook groups where anyone can post, nobody is verified, and a commission split is only as good as whoever remembers agreeing to it. Agencies retype the same listing details into a dozen different groups by hand. When a deal disputes, there's no record — just a reputational fight.
LegiProp starts narrow and deliberately so: verify agencies, make listings fast to create, let agencies find each other on-platform, and give every commission agreement a timestamp. That's the trust layer. Everything else — developer tooling, market intelligence, a public transparency layer — comes after that foundation is real, not before.
What we build first, on purpose
Agency-only, no exceptions
Pakistani real estate agencies are marketing companies with salaried staff — structurally different from an independent-agent market. Every account belongs to a registered business, verified before it goes live.
Commission-of-record, not escrow
LegiProp never holds client money — holding funds is a licensed activity we're not pursuing yet. We hold the agreement: a confirmed, timestamped record both agencies signed off on.
Dealer-first sequencing
We arrive as a dealer ally first. Consumer-facing price transparency is a long-term direction, not a launch feature — protecting dealer trust comes first.
One housing society at a time
We're igniting one complete loop within a single pilot housing society before scaling — trading them a lightweight ops portal for data access and a mandate to their dealer network.
Team Terracotta
We're building LegiProp through the League of Launchers 2026 — an 8-week AI Acceleration Bootcamp run by Change Mechanics, NIC Islamabad, and Startup.pk. This is early-stage: a concept with real design and a working schema, not a shipped product yet.
